Holiday Cheer

A very happy Snowflake Day, y’all. I have inadvertently created the most depressing holiday card ever.

In my defense, it didn’t turn into a card-thing until the last second. But still.

We’ve had a couple of days like this lately, but it’s actually been rainy for the past couple of days. Oh, Canadian weather, how you tease us. I wonder if it’ll be a white Christmas tomorrow, or a slushy, brown Christmas like last year’s?

NaNoWriMo Goodness

I recently did an infographics project based on my previous 5 years doing NaNoWriMo which is, for those who don’t know, a yearly challenge to write a 50,000 word novel in the month of November. To jazz up the graphs a bit, I did pictures of my characters from each year. These are those pictures.





Illustration Friday: Excess

Something for Illustration Friday, this week’s topic being “Excess”. And, uh, it took a long time. An excessive amount of jewelry means an excessive amount of time to draw it, I suppose.

Ink! Every once in a while, I get an urge to learn to use the stuff. Lately I’ve been hooked on the work of Matthew Woodson and Becky Cloonan, not to mention I bought Faith Hicks’ Zombies Calling (which I highly, highly recommend). So now I’m going through another “Must! Learn! Ink!” phase. It’s slow going indeed…
